Hobby

Do you know this state you get in to when practicing your hobby? Wel ofcourse you do since almost everyone of you is on this site to "show off" your side of this passion/obsession.
When you just want to do a quicky, but you end up loosing all sence of time and the rest of the world, except for you and your creation. And as you do, this "quicky" turns into way more than that. And even if afer a wile you glimps at the clock you don't care anymore if it's way past the time you told yourself you would quit. You just endulge.
All your worry's melt away, all the anger or pain ebs away, and you just do what your doing.
I think this is one of the best feelings ever.
I think this is one of the most frightning things to.
I often find myself wanting to draw, aking for it actualy, but scared. Scared that when I start I cant stop anymore before it is done.
This often keeps me from doing one of the things I love doing the most, drawing.
Some of you would probably say, that I should just give in and draw, that I should not keep myself from doing what I love.
And your right. I shouldn't.
And your wrong to. I don't earn my living with drawing and there are things I need to do.
For example I need to sleep sometime. When I arive late at my work it wil eventualy cost me the thing wich does pay my bill's and I don't want that to happen.
When I start drawing I totaly loose control over simple things as time, one of the tings I just can't afort to happen. There in't enough time in one day as it is.
Hence new work comes in slowely.
It's a paradox, a contradiction, hell and heaven at the same time.
But yes once in a wile we give in and taste a little bit of eternaty.
